Germany: The first three-section, low-floor TINA tram from Stadler entered passenger service on Line 5 in Rostock on 12 December. So far, local operator RSAG has received three unidirectional units, while delivery of the remaining 27 vehicles is scheduled between January 2026 and mid-2027.
The 32-metre-long TINA tram, which can accommodate up to 216 passengers including 75 seated, has a maximum speed of 70 km/h. The interior features four multifunctional areas for bicycles, wheelchairs, and prams, along with panoramic windows, air-conditioning, CCTV, and a collision warning system. The vehicle is supported by four bogies located beneath the two end sections.

RSAG placed an order with Stadler for 30 TINA trams worth €107 mln, with an option for 11 additional units. Production is taking place at Stadler’s factories in Poland. The new fleet will replace the city’s ageing Tatra RT6N1 trams built by Czech manufacturer ČKD between 1994 and 1996.
