Russia: TMH’s new LRV has started operation on the Green Line of the Moscow metro. Since late November, the eight-car trainset has been on the final trial run without passengers and covered over 315 km. Another four such trains are due to be launched by the end of the year.
The 81-775.2/776.2/777.2 metro train Moskva 2026 is based on the previous model, Moskva 2024, and does not feature significant changes in appearance. In particular, the interior plastic elements and handrail glass at the entrance are partially upgraded, while metal joints between the seats are removed. In addition, there are now more air ducts in the ceiling for better air-conditioning and improved front lights on the head cars, as well as a passenger-driver communication system and a rear camera both renovated.

As previously announced, a total of 704 Moskva 2026 cars (almost 350 cars per year) are planned to be ordered from the TMH plant in Mytishchi in 2026–2027. The new rolling stock will completely renew the fleet of the Green Line and also go to the new Graphite Line. Meanwhile, the metro trains to be delivered from 2028 would have major construction modifications.
