Belarus: Since Monday, the four-car trainset has been operating on the Green line’s 3.5 km section with four stations, as it was reported to SB. Belarus Segodnya, a national Belarusian newspaper, by the Minsk metro’s spokesperson Andrey Drob.
The rolling stock of TMH’s production is based on the 81-765/766/767 platform (the model for the Moscow metro). According to the Minsk metro’s requirements, the intermediate cars have been designed shorter by 140 mm and the head ones by 70 mm, in comparison with the Moscow trains. That was made so that the train doors would accurately match the platform doors. The cars are also equipped with a special technology that ensures synchronised opening and closing of the doors.

The contract for the supply of seven four-car metro trains for the Belarusian capital was signed in March 2023. The whole fleet is scheduled for the delivery by the end of the year. The new vehicles will also serve the Green line’s new section, planned to be opened in November.
