UK: The five-car Inneo train has entered revenue service on the 38 km Docklands Light Railway since late September.
The launch took place 18 months later the scheduled date due to technical issues with the rolling stock and signalling systems.
The train can accommodate 793 people and reach top speeds of 80 km/h, passing up to 38 m curves. Its GoA3 level automation system ensures unmanned operation, however with a driver in the cab in case of an emergency. The train can be converted to a fully driverless operation, GoA4. The vehicle is also distinguished by three spaces for wheelchairs and three areas for pushchairs, bicycles or luggage.

The almost €400 mln contract to supply 43 trains was signed with TfL in 2019, and later was extended to another 11 units. All trains are expected to be launched by late 2026.
