The contract for the supply of four trains was signed with operator EAV in 2020, and in 2023 an option for a further six trains was enacted. The total value of the order, including three years of maintenance, amounts to €100 mln, of which €60 mln has been allocated from the state budget under Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan.
