The tram contract was signed between Bozankaya and city operator GSP Beograd last July. The deal is worth RSD 7.9 bln (€67.5 mln). Other tenderers, Pesa and Siemens Mobility, expressed reservations about the purchase due to the short deadlines for the submission of bids and the delivery of trams, as well as the specific requirements for the rolling stock. Today, the city has launched a major tender for 100 trams.
