Belarus: By the end of the year, the Belkommunmash plant is expected to produce 20 low-floor T811 trams for the capital. The Minsk-Novosti agency published a photo of one of the assembled bodies.
The project has been in development for several years and has been postponed as BKM Holding’s facilities have been loaded with orders for Russia. Now, in comments to the agency, the plant’s Deputy General Director, Dmitry Parkov, has announced a new contract for Vitebsk, although he did not reveal the number of vehicles ordered.

The T811 is a basic model of single-car low-floor tram produced by BKM Holding. The tram is supplied to Mazyr in Belarus and to Barnaul, Samara and Nizhny Novgorod (under the MiNiN brand) in Russia. T811 car bodies are being used to assemble trams for Novosibirsk.
