India: The fleet of three six-car trains was put into service on 10 August. The vehicles operate at 25-minute intervals on the 19.1 km long yellow line.
All 15 trainsets ordered for the route are expected to be delivered by March 2026. With all trains on the line, peak-hour service intervals will be reduced to five minutes. The rolling stock is being assembled at the facilities of local manufacturer Titagarh Rail Systems under a joint venture with CRRC, established in 2022.
Initially, the trains will operate in semi-automatic mode, GoA2 level, with a driver in the cab. Following the integration of required systems and approval from regulatory authorities, the vehicles are planned to be upgraded to the highest driverless GoA4 level.

Originally, the yellow line was supposed to be opened in March 2016. However, the project encountered multiple challenges, including funding shortages, supply chain disruptions due to difficulties while establishing the JV in India and other issues.
