Singapore: The first two-car Innovia APM 300R is now running on an 8 km BPLRT line. The train is manufactured at the joint Alstom-CRRC plant in the Chinese city of Wuhu. Initially, the EMU was to be put into operation in late 2022.

These aluminium-bodied trains can reach a maximum speed of 80 km/h. Each car has 16 seats. The Innovia APM 300R is fitted with the Mitrac propulsion system, which, according to Alstom, will boost energy efficiency. They are also equipped with components monitoring system and dimming windows.
