Russia: The locomotive will operate at the group’s steelworks in the town of Novotroitsk.
According to Ural Steel, the vehicle can transport 40 t of coke in two flatcars, totalling around 700,000 t per year. The locomotive is reportedly equipped with an AC system and its positioning control equipment makes loading cars almost automatic.
Founded in 1958, Qinye specialises in providing solutions for the steel, chemical and other industries. The company’s portfolio includes over 50 series and 200 specifications of industrial rolling stock. Notably, the company produces railway transfer cars for steel, cast iron and slabs. Qinye’s products are supplied to many countries, including India, Japan, Argentina, Poland and Romania.
