Kazakhstan: As part of Central Asia’s key transport and logistics exhibition, taking place from 30 September to 2 October in Almaty, the organisers have prepared a comprehensive schedule of business activities. The programme will include a major business forum, a series of conferences, exhibitor seminars, and much more.

A significant event will be the VII International Transport and Logistics Business Forum, New Silk Way, held on 30 September. It is supported by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Transport, the national operator Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, and the Kazakhstan Transport Union. The main focus is on the development of transport corridors and transit potential. Representatives from government authorities, international organisations and the transport sector are expected to participate and deliver presentations.

On 30 September, seminars will be held on the exhibition floor by market players including Daobit (IT system for rail freight management), Aspan Karagai Machinery (warehouse logistics) and SITEC (warehouse automation). Then on 1 October, companies such as SIGIS (IT solutions for rail logistics) and FedEx will present their technologies.

Major conferences will take place on 1 October. Among these is the second BreakBulk Kazakhstan conference on oversized and heavy cargo transportation. Its agenda is dedicated to the key challenges of project logistics in the Caspian region and the development of international corridors. Concurrently, the fourth Warehouse Logistics Market in Kazakhstan conference will be held.

On 2 October, Expert Talks will host a discussion of the forum’s outcomes, with a global focus on Eurasia 2025: Logistics of the New Multipolarity. Key participants will include senior officials from the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Eurasian Development Bank and other organisations.

As previously reported, this year the TransLogistica Kazakhstan exhibition will expand into three pavilions for the first time. The event will gather more than 270 companies from 20 countries. A detailed list of all participants and the exhibition plan have been published on the website, and visitor registration is ongoing. A dedicated mobile app is also available to facilitate attendees’ experience.

TransLogistica Kazakhstan is jointly organised by Kazakhstan’s exhibition companies ITECA and Atakent-Expo, along with their international partner, the ICA Events Group.
