Russia: Two prototype catenary and battery locomotives have been hauling passenger trains at the Kazansky and Kievsky railway stations in Moscow.
Germany: A four-axle locomotive powered by hydrogen fuel cells and batteries is presented in Berlin by Vossloh Rolling Stock, part of CRRC.
Germany: The new locomotive, presented in Berlin this year, is a joint project of the Italian manufacturer IPE Railway Vehicles (IPE Locomotori 2000) and Nexrail, a European leasing company.
