Kazakhstan: This information was provided by Altai Zhumataev, CEO of the company, during the Industrial Rail Transport: Cooperation Without Borders conference in May.
Currently, 13 branches of the servicing company service 1,500 locomotives, representing 70% of the Kazakhstan locomotive fleet. Mr. Zhumataev stated, “Our production facilities are capable of servicing up to 2,000–2,500 vehicles”.
Kamkor Locomotive offers maintenance and repair services for 18 models of locomotives and EMUs, including those produced by the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant and Wabtec. The company has recently commenced servicing the new TEM11A shunting diesel locomotive. This year plan includes repair of 7,625 vehicles, representing an 18% increase on the 2023 figure.

As part of developing its refurbishing competencies, the company is currently fulfilling a contract for the locomotive overhaul for Azerbaijan. It is also receiving repair orders from Russia through LokoTeckh-Promservis, a locomotive servicing company.
