The Spanish team of experts in cryogenics and gas chemistry and the Czech engineering company have announced their intention for further merger.

Coolergy is converting 12 TGM4 diesel locomotives to hydrogen traction and creates infrastructure for liquid hydrogen production by order of DZ Loko, Latvia. Each upgraded locomotive will be equipped with four 80 kW fuel cells. The Spanish company has already selected a fuel cell supplier. It will be Toyota, which is working with CAF on another hydrogen project.

Aurora Engineering was founded in 2012 based on MTH Hranice (MTH Praga), one of the largest track machine manufacturers in Eastern Europe. The company is mainly involved in track machinery projects. According to Coolergy and Aurora Engineering, they will extend their experience to other 1,520 mm gauge countries, including the development of new railway equipment.
