Germany: The G80.106D tank car is manufactured at VTG’s plant Waggonbau Graaff in Elze, Germany. The vehicle is designed to transport ammonia and all types of LNG.
The unit boasts two two-axle Y25 Lsd-1-KP1 bogies with an axle load of 22.5 tf, and the braking system includes a floor-operated parking brake to support ground-level handling. The four-axle configuration allows for travelling curves with a minimum radius of 35 m.

With the body volume of 106 m3 and payload of 55.6 t, the tank car is 17 m long over buffers. The European leasing company VTG says that the vehicle is constructed using P400NGJ4 carbon steel to handle a minimum filling temperature of -40°C.
The improved loading and unloading systems feature a bottom valve, a hydraulic pump, and side valves for managing liquid and gas phase transfers. Thermal insulation is supported by an external sunshield.
