Türkiye: The four-axle Eamnos wagons have departed the manufacturer’s facility in Sivas. Now the new gondola cars are heading for Vienna, where the leasing company GATX Rail Europe will receive them. The size of the batch is not yet announced.
This is the first time that Gök Rail has produced this type of gondola car. The 22.5 tf Eamnos wagon features a payload of 70.8 t, a loading volume of 58 m3, and a length over buffers of 11.3 m. Compiled with the TSI standards, the vehicle is intended for transporting bulk commodities. There are hatches on both sides of the wagon, allowing for easier cleaning from the remaining materials.
