Russia: The manufacturer has released a video showing the production of oil tank cars. The vehicles were ordered by the operator Ural Logistika under a lease agreement with PSB Leasing.
According to data from the Russian Union of Car Manufacturers for 2024, UralVagonZavod produced 29% of oil and petrol tank cars and 6% of chemical tank cars, losing out only to RM Rail. Compared to 2023, the company became the second producer of gondola cars (18%) with the United Wagon Company in the lead.

Last December, UralVagonZavod Corporation informed TASS of its plans to increase car production by a third, giving it a 21% share of the Russian car manufacturing market. ROLLINGSTOCK estimates that the company’s output reached 11% and 13% of the total in 2023 and 2024, making it the fourth largest producer after RM Rail, United Wagon Company and Altaivagon.
