Russia: Alexander Kulikov, the company’s deputy general director for sales, has revealed that the car was developed in a relatively short time frame.
The company has met the primary requirement of potential customers in terms of payload. The new side dump car can load 10–20 t more than similar models, with a total capacity of 125 t. The 33-1297 has a service life of 22 years, a maximum speed of 60 km/h at full load, and a body volume of 56 m3.
The vehicle has been designed for use in mining quarries, with a particular focus on the transportation of rock, ore and bulk and lump cargoes of high density.
The dump truck’s running gear is equipped with two 30 tf six-axle bogies, manufactured from of cast steel components. The rolling stock has reinforced sides with eight hinged points that are fixed to the upper frame and features continuous sheeting on the outside. The floor is protected by an 80 mm thick wooden damping layer, which provides additional resilience during rock loading.
