Russia: The TR EAEU 001/2011 certificate permits the production of 12-6774 gondola cars with unloading hatches at the company’s Biysk Car-building Plant until August 2029.
The company previously obtained certificates for the serial production of 18-6775 bogies with an axle load of 23.5 ft, for use on these gondola cars. As Novotrans’ press service informed ROLLINGSTOCK, the 12-6774 has a payload of 69.5 t. A service life of this freight car is 22 years.
Production of the first 12-6774 cars was completed at the end of last year. Novotrans has announced that the production arrangement is intended to offset the disposal of its own fleet, which exceeds 25,000 gondola cars. Furthermore, the company has announced the launch of new production at the Baltiysky Car-repair Plant.
