Austria, Germany: The logistics company has tested 22.5 ft CemTainer tank containers for transporting cement in both countries. The tank containers were delivered to the terminal on InnoWaggons articulated flatcars, also developed by Innofreight, and then transported by road to construction sites.
The CemTainer, which is largely made of recycled steel, has a volume of 32 m3 and a payload of 31 t. Since it is shorter than the standard 30 ft cement tank container, four Innofreight tank containers can be placed on the InnoWagon, thus reducing the length of a train.

The CemTainer is loaded by means of three top-mounted hatches, which are positioned to match the Uacs cement wagons. Unloading by tilting is done at a pressure of 0.2 MPa.

At the same time, this is not the first ever tank container for cement transportation available, as China also manufactures them.
