United Kingdom — WH Davis will supply 16 wagons to Celsa Steel UK for the transport of hot-rolled steel blanks from the company’s plant in Cardiff. According to the manufacturer, the vehicles will feature a new design, including a body adapted to the customer’s operational requirements.
Australia — CRRC has completed the delivery of 298 gondola cars for the Fortescue metal mining company. The rolling stock, with an axle load of 40 tf and a payload of 137.4 t, will be used to transport ore.

Kazakhstan — In 2024, players of the local railway market purchased 1,957 gondola cars and 393 container flatcars, according to the Ministry of Transport. Against the growing demand, freight car producers are actively developing in the country.
Switzerland — Tatravagonka has inked a framework agreement for the delivery of up to 840 freight cars to SBB Cargo. In addition to the firm part of 200 four-axle Rens universal flatcars and 70 four-axle Fans-u dump cars, the deal includes an option for an additional 370 and 200 vehicles respectively. The flatcars are to be delivered from December 2026 and the dump cars from the autumn of 2027.

Norway, Sweden — The Finnish state-owned company VR FleetCare is to supply up to 120 flatcars for the armed forces of both countries. The purchase was announced in the summer of 2024. The vehicles will be used to transport military and civilian goods. A pilot batch of ten flatcars will be purchased initially, with the remainder vehicles to be ordered later.

Romania — Wagon Lostr and BlueRail have delivered the first batch of tank cars to the local operator Transferoviar Grup. A tank with a cubic capacity of 87 m3 will be used to transport liquid cargo. The order totals 35 tank cars.
