USA: The US company has posted a rendering of its GBX Training Tank Car on its social media. This vehicle has a truck and is designed to help railcar operators, maintenance teams and safety professionals learn about the design of such cars.
There will be a classroom with display racks containing valves and fittings inside the barrel, seating 15 people. The classroom can be accessed via a door at the end of the car. Cut-outs in the barrel will enable attendees to view the insulation and coil systems. There will be a safety railing and hatches on the rooftop platform.

The tank car from the company’s current portfolio of more than 30 models of tank cars is intended for use at Greenbrier’s sites and industrial events.
