Romania: The European division of the US company has carried out the acceptance procedure at its plant in Drobeta-Turnu Severin to complete the process. This followed the new rolling stock’s successful tests at the VUZ Velim test centre in Czechia.

The four-axle solid-bottom Eamnos “Light Version” Type E06B is designed to transport bulk cargo. The vehicle’s body is made of high-strength steel which enhances durability even if strong blows occur when loading and unloading. There are hatches on both sides of the body to provide access for cleaning the car from cargo remnants.

The gondola car is fitted with two-axle 22.5 tf bogies. With a payload of 72 t, its body volume measures at 57 m3, the tare weight amounts to 18 t, the bottom square reaches 26.2 m2, and the length over couplers is 11.3 m.
