Germany: The Laaeffrs 560.6 wagon, which is in one production line with the Laaers 560.3 and Laaers 560.5 models, has passed the European TSI certification.

As reported, it has taken CRRC three years to design the new rolling stock, upgrading the vehicles according to the requirements of the customer, the German freight operator DB Cargo.

The Laaeffrs 560.6 wagon is intended for double-deck transportation of compact cars, SUVs, and other relatively small vehicles. The autorack features a total payload of 32 t. According to the manufacturer, the Laaeffrs 560.6 outstands with its upper loading deck that can be folded.

Prior to this, in April 2021, CRRC executed another contract with DB Cargo and delivered 140 Laaers 560.3 autoracks, certified by the European Railway Agency in 2020. It was for the first time for DB Cargo to receive freight cars from China.
