The Austrian company TransANT, which has been working with Dniprovagonmash since 2024 within the TAS financial-industrial group, has reported the delivery of the wagon to Hungary.
The wagon will be used to transport a weed-control system along German rail infrastructure. The end customer for the rolling stock has not been disclosed.
The four-axle Sgns-type container wagon has a payload of 73.5 t and a maximum axle load of 22.5 t. TransANT states that the order was fulfilled from project development to delivery of the ready-for-service item in four months.

TransANT handled the contract for the wagon supply; its shareholders also include the Austrian steel company voestalpine and freight operator Rail Cargo Group. Previously, TransANT had also passed on an order for production to Dniprovagonmash. Thus, the Ukrainian plant had already manufactured body modules according to TransANT’s design documentation for Ealmnos-type box wagons intended for scrap metal transportation in Germany by the freight operator DB Cargo.
