Belarus: Peter Spuhler, President of the board of directors and main shareholder of the company, was cited by several business media as saying.

In September, Alexei Lyakhnovich, Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus, said that Russia and Belarus might launch joint production of multiple units at Stadler’s plant in Fanipol.

“Stadler has absolutely no indication that Belarus has any plans to change the ownership structure of our plant in Minsk. Speculation about expropriations or Russian shareholdings has no objective basis whatsoever. Stadler firmly rejects such speculation”, Peter Spuhler said to awp news agency, according to quotations by the Cash news media. The sanctions against Belarus have always been complied with 100%, Spuhler continued.

Stadler’s production in Fanipol was ceased in 2022. Stadler told the Belarusian business news media, Office Life, that the plant can only provide installation, replacement, repair, etc. of components using the skills of 200 employees.
