USA, Sweden: The holding has announced the acquisition of Dellner Couplers from Sweden’s EQT for $960 mln. The deal is still subject to regulatory approval.
Dellner Couplers is expected to generate revenue of $250 mln in 2025. The acquisition strengthens Wabtec’s position in the coupler market, complementing Faiveley, a French company acquired in 2016.

Founded in 1941 in Sweden, Dellner Couples has supplied more than 100,000 couplers and 12,500 intercar gangways worldwide. With production facilities in 13 countries, the company services more than 200 customers, including major manufacturers such as CRRC, Alstom, Siemens Mobility, etc. It is worth mentioning that Dellner and Wabtec competed in the selection of the DAC technology standard for Europe.
