India: The company has reported that its order book at the end of the last financial year (April 2025 to March 2026) exceeded INR 30 bln ($313.3 mln).
A key win for Kineco was a contract to supply interiors for 120 Vande Bharat sleeper EMUs, which Kinet Railway Solutions – a joint venture between Russia’s TMH and India’s RVNL – is building for Indian Railways. Kineco also says it is in the final stages of talks with another private Vande Bharat builder.
In the rail segment, Kineco produces train front ends, interior fittings, seating and toilet modules. It operates three production sites in India with a combined area of 27,000 m² and a workforce of 400. Kineco is also one of only two companies in India approved to take part in interior supply projects for new and refurbished trains.
In 2025 Kineco drew attention with a series of European acquisitions: British interiors supplier TRB Lightweight Structures and Danish toilet-module manufacturer Semvac. The company says these have strengthened its position in the Asian, Middle Eastern and European markets.
Consolidated revenue for Kineco group, which is also active in defence, aerospace and other technology fields, came to INR 2.4 bln ($25.5 mln). Revenue in the rail segment fell 23% to INR 0.7 bln ($8 mln). Kineco attributes these results to a drop in new rolling stock tenders from Indian Railways and to slipped delivery schedules on current contracts. On the strength of its high order volume, the company forecasts a recovery in this figure in the coming 2026 financial year.
