USA: The operator and the ZTR company announced a partnership to convert the old diesel locomotive to hybrid diesel-battery traction. The prototype is expected to be released at the end of 2023.
USA: The country’s Department of Defense has included CRRC in the list of companies that are suspected to carry out a defense order in China. Based on this list, the US President may introduce sanctions later.
Germany: Alstom, CRRC, Siemens Mobility, Stadler and a number of other market players presented their locomotives at the InnoTrans exhibition in Berlin. Moreover, Siemens and Alstom announced new rolling stock orders.
Bolivia: In mid-September, several tram lines were launched in the city of Cochabamba, along which 12 three-car B85601M Metelitsa trams by Stadler began to run.
