China: The first batch of three E500 locomotives has reached the Port of Hualien, which is on the east coast of Taiwan. The rolling stock was produced at the manufacturer’s Fuchu Complex, Japan.
Russia: The TMH plant in Novocherkassk obtained TR EAEU 001/2011 certification to produce the locomotive. The approval for mass production was secured for five years up to 2029.
