Germany, Austria: Talgo showed the first ICE L train coach for Deutsche Bahn. In turn, Siemens Mobility presented the interior of a new generation of Viaggio coaches for OBB.
Bulgaria: The only locomotive manufacturer in the country specializing in small shunters is building a new workshop with an area of about 4,000 m2 for the development of overhaul competencies.
France: The manufacturer showed a coupler of the head and double-deck passenger cars. From 2024, they should start replacing 3rd generation Duplex trains as part of the TGV service.
Russia: The new track machine, designed in accordance with the Russian Railways task, is planned to be released in 2024, but an increase of RZD’s investment program for the purchase is required.
Thailand: The EA energy company has received the first battery-powered vehicle from a manufacturer. This is the second export delivery of battery-powered locomotives for CRRC.
Italy: The Invitalia state investment agency and a private fund from the UAE have capitalized Titagarh Firema for the development of production aimed both at Italian and international markets.
Russia: The Baltiets train was delivered to the city as a part of the contract for 950 metro cars signed in August. TMH plans to deliver 8 such trains until the end of 2022.
Portugal: A consortium involving the national CP operator has received state funding to develop three prototypes of passenger coaches by 2025. Further mass production of them is planned.
China: A nine-car train for the Line 1 of the Mexico City Metro was produced at the manufacturer's site in Zhuzhou. This is the first CRRC metro rolling stock equipped with rubber-tired wheels.
